Jamnat Export Ltd ("Jamnat", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through jamnatja.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow the principles of Jamaica's Data Protection Act, 2020.
Who we are

What we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you. When you send a quote request, we receive:
- Your name and email address (required)
- Your company name (optional)
- The destination country for your shipment (required)
- The products you're interested in and any details you choose to add
- A record that you agreed to this policy, with the date and time
When a farmer registers through our Partner Farmers form, we receive:
- Your name, phone or WhatsApp number, and email address if you give one
- Your parish and district or community
- Farm details you choose to share: farm size, availability and RADA registration
- The crops you grow and the amounts you can supply
- A record that you agreed to this policy, with the date and time
If you phone or email us, we receive the details you share in that conversation.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or social-media pixels, we do not create user accounts, and we do not sell your information.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quotation
- To contact registered farmers about supplying produce, and to plan sourcing
- To arrange and manage an order if you become a customer
- To keep basic business records required by law
We process this information because you asked us to (your consent) and because it's needed to take steps toward a contract with you. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the website and our email:
- FormSubmit delivers the quote form to our inbox.
- Google Workspace hosts our business email.
- Netlify hosts this website and may briefly process technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages securely and block abuse.
If you place an order, we may share the details needed to complete it with shipping, freight and customs partners. We don't share farmers' contact details with buyers without permission, and we never share your information for marketing by others.
International transfers
Some of these providers store data outside Jamaica, including in the United States. We use reputable providers that protect data with industry-standard security.
How long we keep it
We keep quote enquiries and farmer registrations for up to 2 years so we can follow up with you. If you become a customer, we keep order and invoice records for as long as Jamaican tax and business law requires. After that, we delete them.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Delete your information, or stop using it
- Stop contacting you
Email info@jamnatja.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Office of the Information Commissioner in Jamaica.
Security
This website is served only over encrypted HTTPS, uses strict security settings, and loads no third-party tracking code. Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection.

Children
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
